Winter at Kreischberg

Magical slopes, powder snow, and cosy evenings at the Mayer guesthouse.

Skiing, Snowboarding
& More

The Kreischberg family ski resort is one of Austria’s most popular winter sports regions.
On around 45 kilometres of slopes, beginners and experts alike can enjoy perfectly groomed runs and snow fun at the highest level. Families will love the child-friendly areas with a dinosaur park and tubing track.

The ski area’s valley lift station is only a 5-minute walk from our guest house.

Ski School & Guided Tours

We are happy to book your personal ski instructor or a ski course in your preferred language (German, English, Hungarian) at the Kreischberg Mayer ski school.

The Mayer Ski School offers guided ski tours and snowshoe hikes for experienced winter sports enthusiasts – a unique nature experience in the Murau Alps. The region is also ideal for cross-country skiing: you will find idyllic trails in Laßnitz and at the Prebersee, and there is also a high-altitude trail on Kreischberg.

Ski touring is possible from the middle station on Kreischberg (more information can be found on the Kreischberg website – www.kreischberg.at).

Kreischberg Ski School – Learn from the Pros

Whether you are a beginner, returning to the sport or a little speed demon on the slopes, the Kreischberg Ski School offers professional lessons for all ages and ability levels.
In small groups or individual lessons, you will learn how to handle snow, skis, and snowboards safely and enjoyably with highly trained ski instructors.
